Coverwise travel insurance policy details

Coverwise offers up to 7 levels of cover: standard, standard plus, bronze, silver, silver plus, gold, and platinum. But, what you can get covered for can vary, depending on the type of insurance you select.

Let's take a look at the different types of travel insurance they offer, and the level of cover you could get*:

Single trip travel insurance

Single-trip travel insurance covers one trip, from the time you buy a policy until it expires. With a single-trip policy, you can choose from 7 levels of coverage offered by Coverwise.

As standard, a single-trip policy can cover for:

Annual travel insurance

Annual travel insurance covers multiple trips over a 12 month period. Similar to single-trip travel insurance, annual insurance is available across the 7 cover levels.

As standard, an annual policy can cover for:

  • Trip cancellation and curtailment
  • Emergency medical expenses up to £20 million
  • Personal liability cover
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged baggage
  • Legal expenses cover
  • Travel delays or disruption

Business travel insurance

Business travel insurance is ideal for those travelling for business. It's available either as a single or annual policy.

Along with everything you'd get from a standard Coverwise travel insurance policy, you'll also be covered for business-related problems.

Depending on which cover level you choose, this can include:

  • Damaged, stolen, or lost business equipment
  • Samples and merchandise cover
  • Replacement employee cover

Ski travel insurance

Ski insurance is ideal for winter sports, where you'll need cover for skiing or snowboard insurance.

It's available as a single or annual trip policy. Along with what you'd expect from a standard travel insurance policy, it can also also cover for:

  • On and off-piste activities
  • Damaged, stolen, or lost business equipment
  • Piste closure
  • Snowboard and ski hire
  • Emergency medical treatment and repatriation to the UK
  • Cover for damaged, lost or stolen ski equipment
  • Physiotherapy in the UK after the trip

Top tip: Coverage can vary, depending on which cover level you select. Before you buy a policy, make sure to read the policy wording carefully to know you're getting the cover you need.
