Confused.com Rewards+ T&Cs

1. The Promoter of this offer is Inspop.com Limited trading as Confused.com, whose registered office is at Greyfriars House, Greyfriars Road, Cardiff CF10 3AL. Registration No. 03857130 (“Confused.com”).

Who is eligible?

2. The offer only applies to customers who have received an email promoting the Confused.com Rewards+ (“The Invite Email”) and then have bought a single annual car, single annual van or annual contents and/or buildings insurance policy, excluding Landlord insurance (“the Qualifying Products”), through www.Confused.com (the “Website”) and which can be verified by Confused.com. Customers must get a new quote and buy a Qualifying Product through the Website, or a Qualifying Product bought via telephone following a quote obtained via the Website will also qualify for the Offer provided the customer has clicked the phone button on the Website to reveal the insurers’ contact details and supplied the quote and reference number at the point of buying the policy (“Qualifying Purchase”).

2.1. Any other product offered on the Website – other than the Qualifying Products stated above – are expressly excluded from the Offer.

2.2. By claiming for the offer, you are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.


What is Rewards+?

3. You will get a bigger reward every time you make a Qualifying Purchase to redeem with over 100 brands (the “Offer”).

  • Get a £20 reward with your first Qualifying Purchase
  • Get a £30 reward with your second Qualifying Purchase
  • Get a £40 reward with your third Qualifying Purchase and all subsequent Qualifying Purchases

Collectively known as “Rewards+”.

After you have made your first Qualifying Purchase and received your £20 Rewards+, you’ll have 365 days to make your next Qualifying Purchase and move up to the next reward, subject to a long stop end date of 11:59pm UK time on 1st December 2025 (“Offer End Date”). For the avoidance of doubt, after your previous Qualifying Purchase you will have the earlier of (a) 365 days or (b) the Offer End Date to make your next Qualifying Purchase and claim the next reward.

Once you hit £40 with your third Qualifying Purchase, the rewards won’t stop - you’ll get £40 with every subsequent Qualifying Purchase, as long as you buy within 365 days of your last Qualifying Purchase, also subject to the Offer End Date.

Convert your reward value into an eGift Card to spend at a brand of your choice.


How to get Rewards+

4. To be able to claim The Offer, you must have access to the internet, a Confused.com account and have downloaded and logged into the Confused.com app.

4.1. To download the app, visit the App Store or Google Play via your smart device. More information on the Confused.com app can be found here. The Confused.com app works on mobile devices with Android version 9 and above, or iOS 11.0 or later.

5. Following making a Qualifying Purchase (as defined in point 2), customers must download or log into the Confused.com app and go to the Confused.com Rewards section within 90 days of getting the quote associated with the Qualifying Purchase and claim for the Offer.

5.1. To claim the Offer, you must click the “Add reward to wallet” button in the rewards section of the app and complete all fields within this section.

5.2. Once a claim has been made, it can take up to 14 working days for a reward to be added to the wallet. Whilst this is being verified, customers will see a “pending” status associated with their claim in the reward section of their app. If successful, the reward value will be added to the wallet and an email and push notification will be sent to notify the customer. To turn on push notifications, go to the “Notifications Settings” section of the settings tab on the Confused.com app and ensure reminder notifications are turned on.

5.3. If a reward claim can’t be verified, you will see “unable to verify” stated in the app and customers will need to contact us here.


How to use Rewards+

6. Once the reward value has been added to the wallet, you will have 365 days from the date you made a reward claim to press the “redeem” button and select a brand to convert into an eGift Card.

6.1. The minimum value that can be redeemed at one time will vary by brand and the maximum is £100 across all brands.

6.2. You can also split the reward value over multiple eGift Cards. Minimum value that can be redeemed at one time will vary by brand.

6.3. If the reward value is not redeemed within 365 days of being added to your wallet, the reward value will be removed from the wallet.

7. Once you have chosen an eGfit Card, it will be available in the rewards section of the app for 90 days. The actual expiry date of the eGift Card will depend on the chosen brand but this is likely to be longer than 90 days. The expiry date or time frame to use the eGift Card will be available to view once the “View eGift Card” button has been clicked.

7.1. Once your eGift Card access is removed from the wallet, Confused.com is unable to provide copies of the eGift Card.

7.2. If you spend your eGift Card (in part or total), the balance will not automatically update in your wallet. To find out the exact balance of your eGift Card, you can contact the brand directly.

8. The brands available to choose from are subject to their own terms and conditions which are different to those of this Offer. These will be available when choosing a brand and it is important customers read and understand these before choosing as changes can't be made after the reward value has been redeemed.

9. You can claim up to a maximum of £250 worth of rewards in a 12 month period.


Qualifying for further Rewards+

10. Once a successful claim has been made, you will have the earlier of: (a) 365 days or (b) the Offer End Date to make another Qualifying Purchase and make a reward claim. When you make a subsequent Qualifying Purchase, the timeline resets and you get another 365 days to make another Qualifying Purchase, subject to the Offer End Date. The reward value associated with Qualifying Purchases is as follows:

10.1. First qualifying purchase receives a £20 reward;

10.2. Second qualifying purchase receives a £30 reward (to be made within 365 days of the first Qualifying Purchase);

10.3. Third qualifying purchase receives a £40 reward (to be made within 365 days of the second Qualifying Purchase);

10.4. All further qualifying purchases receive a £40 reward (to be made within 365 days of the third or further Qualifying Purchases);

10.5. If a subsequent Qualifying Purchase is made over 365 days from the previous Qualifying Purchase, you will be eligible for a reward value of £20.


Greggs Bonus Reward

11. Customers who successfully claim the Offer will also be eligible to receive a bonus reward.

11.1. This will be 12 regular hot drinks from Greggs, issued individually as one per calendar month for a period of 12 months (“Bonus Reward”). Each monthly hot drink will be issued via an individual unique code, when the customer downloads and logs into the Confused.com app.

11.2. The Bonus Reward is only available through the Confused.com app.

11.3. The Bonus Reward will only become available at the same time as your reward, once its been verified. The validity of your 12 monthly codes will begin from the day your reward is made available to you. Your first QR code will become available as soon as your reward offer claim is verified. After that, a unique code will become available on the 1st of each month and can be used on any date during that month. If the code is not used in that month it will expire. The code can’t be re issued.

11.4. To use a Bonus Reward code, it must be activated. Once activated, you will have 24 hours to use it. After this time, the code can no longer be used and will expire. If you activated your code on the last day of the month, that code will only be valid until 11.59pm on that day. The next month’s code will then become available the following day.

Important information

12. Only one customer per policy bought is eligible to claim for this Offer.

12.1. A maximum of one Offer claim can be claimed for each single annual car insurance policy bought, per vehicle registration.

12.2. A maximum of two Offer claims can be claimed for each single annual home insurance policy bought, per household which equates to circumstances where a single buildings and single contents policy have been bought separately. If a combined buildings and contents policy is bought, a maximum of one Offer claim can be claimed per household.

12.3. A maximum of one Offer claim can be claimed for each single annual van insurance policy purchased, per vehicle registration

13. In the event that a selected Next Level Reward becomes unavailable, customers who have selected the Next Level Reward will be contacted with alternative options of equal or greater value. No cash alternative will be offered.

14. Rewards+ can only be used for personal and consumer use.

15. Rewards+ are subject to availability and may be changed or removed by Confused.com at its absolute discretion without warning. The Next Level Reward is non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be substituted for any other gift, voucher or cash value. If a customer chooses to cancel their Next Level Reward or suffers damage/loss to their Next Level Reward, no replacement reward will be issued. Confused.com accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the selected Rewards+.

16. Rewards+ is managed by The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited (registered company in England and Wales 06467245) on behalf of Confused.com. Customer data will be shared with The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited strictly to the extent necessary to process, verify and issue the Next Level Reward and to answer any related customer queries.

17. The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited use of customer data will be governed by their applicable privacy policies. Their privacy policies are different from the Confused.com privacy notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they understand and agree to the privacy policy of The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited.

18. Any customer data Confused.com holds during this Offer will be held and used in accordance with the Confused.com privacy notice (available at https://www.confused.com/privacy-and-security/privacy-notice) and current UK data protection legislation.

19. Insofar as is permitted by law, Confused.com and its agents or distributors accept no liability or responsibility for any delays or failures in verifying a Qualifying Purchase caused by a third-party provider, data corruption, incomplete or illegible entries, entries which fail to be submitted properly.

20. We retain the right to reject your claim on suspicion of malpractice, misrepresentation or any other use which is inconsistent with our terms and conditions. This may also result in Confused.com not being able to offer other products, or insurers offering their products on different terms. Also, we actively monitor information entered into our website and pass on intelligence of suspected fraud to other parties including insurance providers, aggregators, financial institutions and fraud prevention agencies. Law enforcement agencies may access and use this information.

21. Confused.com reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at their discretion and without notice.

22. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

23. We may decline access to Rewards+ where there is a reasonable belief of abuse, attempted abuse or fraudulent activity towards Rewards+


Exclusions

  • This Offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer, including offers via third party cash back sites, with the exception of the Confused.com Beat Your Renewal guarantee. If car, van or contents and/or buildings insurance is purchased through Confused.com via a cash back site and a claim is made for the Offer, only the Offer will be rewarded.
  • Policies that are cancelled during the policy cancellation period for any reason will not be eligible to receive the Offer.
  • By deleting your Confused.com account you may forfeit your future entitlement to use the Rewards+ or any other rewards.
  • Customers will only be eligible for the Offer where Confused.com and The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited are able to verify the Qualifying Purchase. Purchases not made through Confused.com shall not be eligible for the Offer.
  • Purchases made through Confused.com via Uswitch, Money.co.uk, Clearscore, Top Cashback or any other affiliate partner shall not be eligible for the Offer.
