Rhydian’s background and expertise

Background:

Rhydian joined Confused.com in 2013. Before joining Confused.com, Rhydian enjoyed various roles at HSBC spanning 10 years. From his Commercial Manager role at Confused.com, Rhydian progressed to Head of Partner Relations. He then became Head of Commercial before taking up his current role of Commercial Director. This wealth of experience helps Rhydian lead the commercial team who build and manage the relationships with the many insurance partners the business works with.

Rhydian not only works with existing insurers. His role also involves bringing new brands to the list of 169 we work with. This means we’re able to offer customers more options when they come to shop for their insurance.

Rhydian’s role is an important part of the business. It means not only working hard for the business, but also ensuring that customers' best interests remain a key factor in commercial decisions. For instance,  if an insurance partner is found to be treating customers unfairly, the team manages the situation with the partner. If we don’t see a sustained improvement,our partners risk being removed from the site.
