What speeds does Vodafone offer?
A broadband speed of at least 25Mbps is recommended to work and stream without issue. With Vodafone’s fibre optic broadband, you can enjoy speeds of 38Mbps, 67Mbps, 150Mbps, 500Mbps and even 910Mbps.
Vodafone’s Full Fibre plans are perfect for larger households where everyone regularly streams in ultra high-definition or enjoys multiplayer online gaming.
However, speeds will differ based on where you live and the connection that’s available. For example, Vodafone’s full fibre offerings (150Mbps, 500Mbps and 910Mbps) are only available in places within either Cityfibre or Openreach’s full fibre networks.
Full fibre (FTTP) broadband is also faster than FTTC as it connects directly to your home, but this might not be available in your area. In this case, you’ll have to go with FTTC until connections are available where you live.

How long does it take to set up Vodafone broadband?
Vodafone broadband is easy to set up yourself. Once you receive your router, you just have to plug it in and connect your devices.
If, however, your property has never had Openreach fibre internet connected before, an engineer will need to install the broadband connection for you. The same applies if you’re switching from a different network. The installation takes up to 4 hours and you don’t have to pay an installation fee.
Vodafone antivirus
Vodafone provides 12 months of free Norton 360 Antivirus protection to all Vodafone Pro II customers. The software - designed to prevent your devices from being infected with malware - can protect up to 10 of your devices.
