I’ve never used Confused.com before. What can I do on the app?

- To get a quick quote, you’ll first have to get a car or home insurance quote on our site. After that, you can get quick quotes for as many cars/homes you would like.
- For further features, you can create a Confused.com account and log in at the top of the quotes or settings section.

Why can’t I get a quick quote?
To get a quick quote, you must have a Confused.com account and have previously completed a car or home insurance quote with us. We use the details from your last car/home insurance quote to get you a quick quote.
If you’re not able to get a quick quote please check that you have a quote in your Confused.com account. You can check this in the quotes section of the app once you have signed into your account.
Why doesn't QuickQuote recognise my car registration?
QuickQuote will only work for car registration plates registered in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
We can recognise the vast majority of car registration numbers. However, our coverage isn’t 100 per cent, and occasionally we might not be able to get a quote for the car in question.
Important vehicle dates
How do I check my MOT or tax renewal dates?
In the tools tab you’ll find ‘important vehicle dates’. Select this and enter a vehicle registration. You’ll then see the date your MOT will expire and the date the tax is due. You can also set the date your insurance is due here.
To get future notifications for when these are due, simply save the vehicle. You’ll also need to make sure notifications are enabled on your phone via the Settings tab, and on your phone in Settings.

Reminders
What are reminders in the Confused.com app?
In the app dashboard, you can save information about your insurance policies and utility contracts. Store details such as your provider and policy number all in one convenient place. Plus, we’ll send you a reminder when these are due for renewal. Never forget a date again!
