On May the 15th, the spectacular Confused.com million pound giveaway yielded a winner. One lucky applicant, who had run a quote for car insurance on the very first day of the competition, was selected at random and informed of her handsome windfall.
And the winner is…
21-year-old Eve Olive from Hertfordshire was lucky enough to claim the loot. Eve is training to be a beauty therapist, and was at college with friends when she received the call to inform her of her big win. Rather unsurprisingly, she was didn’t really believe that she’d become an instant millionaire at first.
Eve Olive, newly established millionaire, told us: “When I entered the competition by applying for a car insurance quote, I never in a million years thought I would win… I thought it was someone playing a joke on me when I got the call to say I’d won!”
Overwhelmed!
“I am completely overwhelmed and haven’t quite got used to the idea yet. The news came just days after I found out I had passed all my exams so it has been a memorable week to say the least!
“I am not sure what I’ll do with the money yet, but I have always loved horses and now I will be able to buy one of my own, plus a nice big horsebox and all the other extras… I’m so excited!”
Life-changing!

The ‘Win A Million with Confused’ draw was open from the 11th of February up until the 14th of May. Entrants needed to simply log onto the Confused.com website and obtain a quote for either car or home insurance, even if their existing insurance wasn’t due for renewal. Upon doing so, they were automatically entered into a draw to win the loot, courtesy of Confused.com.
